Our lawyers

Three lawyers, all on the worker’s side

Three lawyers who only represent workers, with a paralegal, volunteers and interpreters behind them.

    Bogdan Wierzbicki

    Founder and volunteer counsel

Started the clinic after forty years of representing workers, and still reads every severance agreement that comes in on Saturday.

    Masaki Okubo

    Staff attorney

Handles retaliation and severance matters, and leads the clinic’s evening sessions.

More hands than three

Law students from nearby schools help prepare wage claims under our lawyers’ supervision. Volunteer interpreters sit in on meetings in Arabic, Bengali and Spanish. And a small group of retired union stewards help us explain what a workplace really looks like from the floor.
